| Our patrol sector has a major highway border crossing station. This shot shows the twin plaque markers on the sides of the road. Notice the blue and white poles on the other side of the roadway. These were yet another set of unofficial border markers! German civilians would often walk along the border on well worn trails especially on the weekends. | |
