mar1903_qrs1_jpg.jpg - Norbert continues the photo safari in the LTA. The Quick Reaction Site ( QRS ) opened in 1980 and replaced the old ASP also found in Reiterswiesen. The site offered many advantages including ammo bunkers earmarked to individual vehicle pairs and an elevated site allowing ammo to be loaded "down and in" to the vehicles as they parked. The entire site was surrounded by large berms. This building I believe was the central guard house.
