  13.jpg - I was lucky enough to catch this Sheridan firing while on the move. Being a former Sheridan driver myself, I can tell you that there is a great deal of coordination required between the driver and gunner, as it was imperative that the driver keep the track moving very smooth and steady less the gunner miss the shot. Another very interesting thing about this photo is that the M551 is firing over the side. We tried to avoid this practice, as turret screens came loose and even cupola bolts sheared off as a result of the massive recoil.
