| The final image, attached to the cross, a plate carrying the names of twelve members of Company 2 of Kradschutzen Battalion 2, killed in action on 8 / 9 / 1939. Somewhat later, this grave site was finished with a rough hewn birch tree railing and that image appeared in one of the post war unit histories of the 2 Panzer Division. | |
