| M24 tank. The warmest place in the Winter was on the back deck because the way the engine, exhaust and mufflers were set up, it created a bubble of heat. So, it was common during maneuvers to see a tank stopped and the crew standing behind the turret like we were waiting for the city bus as we tried to warm up! | |
