| Incomplete panoramic of a
completely dark night illuminated only by hand rocket flares at an NDP in
Vietnam-1972. Approximately 1/3rd of the entire scene is missing from the center
of this composite of two separate exposures made from the same location. Smoke
hanging in the air is from gunfire and the absence of any troops in the tents or
dug-outs indicates this was during a probe of the perimeter or tripping of a
